Translate Voicemail to Email in Multiple Languages
Online audio transcription services make it easy to translate voicemail to email records in multiple languages. These easy-to-use online tools can help your employees avoid language barriers and keep your business running smoothly.
If you're running an international business, chances are you have customers from every corner of the globe. And while you might have a few bilingual employees on staff, you will still run into language barriers. As an international contact center software provider, we run into this obstacle frequently. We have customers in over 100 countries around the world, which can make it difficult to communicate effectively.
Audio to text services, like VoiceBase, and online translation services, like Google Translate, can help you and your team avoid language barriers, especially when it comes to voicemail. (And you won't have to spend a fortune to translate your voicemails into multiple languages!)
Here is one way that you can translate your voicemail to email records in multiple languages:
Step 1: Convert your audio file to text.
There are a number of online voice to audio transcription services available. One of the most popular audio transcription services (especially for translating recordings in multiple languages) is VoiceBase. There are other audio to text converter services available, but VoiceBase is one of the most affordable ones on the market.
You can start using VoiceBase with a free trial account. Once you have used all of your trial credits, you can get machine-generated transcripts for all of your voicemail to email files for as little as 1 cent per minute.
To use VoiceBase:
- Simply upload the audio file that you wish to convert to text. Name your file, add a short description, choose the language that the file is in, and then select Machine Transcription.
- Voicebase will begin to transcribe the file immediately. Once it is complete, you will see it under the "My Content" tab.
- Click on the test file, and scroll down to find your voice transcription.
Step 2: Translate your text file into other languages.
After you have converted your voicemail to email audio file to text, you will need to find a translation service or software to translate the text to multiple languages.
There are a lot of online translation services available, but we will use Google Translate for this example. (It's obviously not as good as a human translator, but Google Translate is free and very easy to use.)
To translate your text file:
- Copy and paste the text file into Google Translate (or any other translation service or app).
- And that's it! You can use Google Translate to translate your the text from your voicemail to email record in as many languages as you would like.
